Why do I read?

Because books are magic.

Words waltz and stories sparkle, and every page turned is a connection in the making. I am a ferocious reader because I value shared experience, cultivating empathy and understanding, learning, growing, and challenging myself to push beyond what I know to find something new.

After I emerge from a book's warm and comforting earthy, vanilla-scented pages, I like to share what I have learned or loved from an author's enchanting labyrinth of words. And I love the sparked conversations that arise when folks gather to talk about what they have read.

But that's not all, fellow wordsmiths! Who doesn't love the twists and turns of the writing journey? From the chaotic first drafts to the triumphant "The End," we spill ink and secrets alike. Our pens are our swords and typewriters, the magical wands that conjure worlds.
